    • ]]>     ‘Char Hor Fun’ or ‘Tua Pan’ in hokkien is a kind of dish made of fried big flat noodles mix with ‘bee hoon’ (rice noodle) covered with starchy gravy. One of my favorite is located in Ban Long San restaurant near the Butterworth Outer Ring Road (please see location map). The self proclaim king of Char Hor Fun or popularly known as ‘Tuan Pan Ong’ is indeed a notch above others. It is served with a lot of seafood such as mantis prawns, big prawns, squids, fish balls, frog and cuttle fish. Other than the famous ‘Tua Pan Ong’, we also ordered fried mantis prawn with dried chili, balitong and ‘or kau’ chicken.
